During this session, participants will learn how to use a collaborative approach to manage conflict and resolve workplace issues. The instructors will discuss ways of communicating more effectively in the work environment and will explore how your perspective on conflict affects the way you interact with employees and others. Strategies will be suggested for dealing with conflict, mistakes, and negative workplace events, and for having difficult workplace conversations.
Facilitator: Maureen Gregory: Maureen is a trained mediator, arbitrator and workplace investigator. She has 20 years’ experience practising law, is a Family Mediation Canada Certified Comprehensive Family Mediator, a Certified Workplace Investigator, an MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) Step I and Step II Certified Practitioner, and a Certified Workplace Fairness Analyst. She has completed the Arbitration course and Exam of the ADR Institute of Canada and holds a Certificate in Conflict Resolution from the University of Prince Edward Island.
